Very spread out, more like a resort. Stairs to most rooms, toilet seat was yellow and very very old, made the whole bathroom seem dated. The whole place needs a full renovation, will definitely be going back to Palmer Street precinct and only use the Mercure as a last resort and I am an ALL Gold member.

The property manager Sonia was brilliant. She made contact with us ensuring we knew about hours and our accommodation. We had no car, and were able to leave our bags until our room was available due to our early arrival and was equally accommodating on having to leave. Our unit was within walking distance to many things - Castle Hill, Magnetic Island Ferry, museums and restaurants.

"Great pool area. Restaurant was closed while we were there, but was right next to pool and looked nice. Futon in room was only place to sit to watch tv and was very uncomfortable, but we weren't at Magnetic Island to watch tv anyway.
